If Trump cuts off food stamps there will be several children and elderly to go hungry. I pay taxes and don't like seeing the food-stamp program abused. However, I don't want to worry that there may be a child going to bed hungry because food-stamps were not available. There are so many governmental programs to assist individuals to get off of drugs, etc. If I had the mindset that some of these postings I have read, then the government should not help the addicts. My taxes shouldn't pay for their recovery. I didn't put the drugs in their hands. That being said, I am very thankful that we do live in a country where help is available no matter the circumstances
